１.日本国民は、正義と秩序を基調とする国際平和を誠実に希求し、国権の発動たる戦争と、武力による威嚇又は武力の行使は、国際紛争を解決する手段としては、永久にこれを放棄する。

My Spoon Article 9・Peace
The wish of people living in the 21st Century is to create a peaceful world without war.
In its renunciation of the right of belligerency through Article 9 of the Constitution, Japan vowed never to repeat the tragedy of war, based on the horrors of World War�brought about by Japanese aggression.
To show support for Article 9, treasure of Japan and the world, this spoon has been designed so that, depending on the angle of viewing, one sees both "９" for Article 9 and"Ｐ" for Peace.
Its message is clear：peace, not war!
A slice of the profits will be used to support the Article 9 Association movement, which is opposing the revision of the Constitution.

THE CONSTITUTION OF JAPAN CHAPTER II: RENUNCIATION OF WAR Article 9
1) Aspiring sincerely to an international peace based on justice and order,
the Japanese people forever renounce war as a sovereign right of the nation
and the threat or use of force as means of settling international disputes.
